Cot Quilts

Given the time involved in hand-quilting single or double bed-sized wholecloth quilts, Sandie has used the smaller format of cot-sized quilts to develop and showcase her design and hand-stitching skills. Hand quilted cot-sized wholecloth quilts are also ideally suited to creating heirloom pieces for new arrivals.

Over a period of 15-20 years, therefore, Sandie has accumulated, in a fairly ad hoc way, a large number of these pieces. Many of these had won awards, so in 2012 she agreed to place most of them into a collection, called Little Dreams, for display at the major quilt shows run by Grosvenor.
