Notes
This is a very different recreation of a Welsh quilt belonging to collector Jen Jones, and was made for the Minerva Centre exhibition of that year. Having made quilts look like sweaters, I felt I should be able to make knitting look like a quilt. The wadding is therefore fairisle knitting (in which I attempted to resemble the original fabrics as closely as possible) sandwiched between a cotton backing and a sheer fabric top. Actually quilting it was quite an experience and definitely not for the faint-hearted.
